Asaduddin Owaisi’s party, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), is preparing to contest elections on 20 minority-majority Lok Sabha seats in the state. These include prominent seats like Azamgarh, Sambhal, Badaun, Meerut, Moradabad, Amroha, Bijnor, and Phulpur. The party’s state unit has sent a proposal to the national president, Asaduddin Owaisi, to contest elections on 20 seats.
